Frequently Asked Questions

We’re here to answer your most common questions about our flood and storm protection services.

Question 1: What does a flood barrier system usually cost?

When it comes to flood barrier systems, you're paying based upon the total volume of aluminum your home needs and the number of openings being installed. So the price will vary based upon 1) how high you're going with the flood panels, 2) how many openings your home needs protected, and 3) if any of the openings need concrete work for a sealed footer.

This is why we provide a free flood assessment to every home so we can provide you with precise price that wont change later due to "suprprises".

Question 2: How long does it take to complete a project?

Typically from initial assessment to fully installed and completed, you're usually looking at about 4-6 weeks. This factors for you approving a final scope of work and cost, fabrication of all materials, lead time on materials and current projects we're working on, and finally 2-3 days for the install.

Question 3: Are your services guaranteed?

We provide a workmanship warranty for 2 years. As for a "zero flood guarantee", this is not provided by the industry because acts of nature can be wildly unpredictable.

Question 4: Do you provide free estimates?

Yes, we offer free, no-obligation estimates for all services. Contact us today to schedule a free flood assessment.

Question 5: How high should I go with a flood barrier system?

Our recommendation is you go 1.5x to 2x higher than your flood line from the water line of your last flood (or the flood line of your neighbors flood if you didn't flood but they did). So, as an example, if your flood line was at 24 inches, we recommend you go to 40 or 48 inches.
